When you purchase from Vendaz you are guaranteed a product that is supplied in Uganda. At the same time, your purchase also supports small Uganda businesses. We have over 500 individual shops owned by small creative businesses, who are passionate about what they do. We carefully choose our sellers and work with them closely to provide the best possible selection of products and unique presents for any occasion. Many of the items are totally unique.

Buying from Vendaz

To buy items from Vendaz you are welcome to register on the website and apps. This is because some details are required to track orders and keep you informed of progress. However if you wish to process your order as a guest, that’s perfectly fine too.

To buy products, select ‘Add to basket’ on the item page and it will be added to your shopping basket. At any time you can see what’s in the basket by clicking on the basket icon at the top of the page.

Our easy checkout is designed so that you can choose products from multiple shops and then pay for them in one payment. The system will do the rest and sends the right money to the individual sellers.

Items will stay in your basket until checkout is completed or the website session is ended by logging out. The website and apps also has a ‘Wish List’ where you can list items that you might consider buying prior to transfer to the basket and subsequent purchase. The addition of an item to the basket does not remove it from sale so if the transaction is not completed in a reasonable time it might be purchase by someone else.

How do I pay for an item?

You are welcome to select items from different shops and then pay with just one payment. When you purchase an item from Vendaz, your payment goes directly to individual seller.

Vendaz does not handle any money during a sale transaction. Our secure online payment system accepts all major credit and debit cards, mobile money as well as PayPal.

How much does postage cost?

The postage charges are displayed within the listing of each product description. These amounts are determined by the seller. Some sellers will offer a postage discount if you order more than one item from them in the same transaction. The postage costs for any order will show in the cart prior to check out. Sellers are also encouraged to use CASH ON DELIVERY.
